Acme is known for setting the standard for juicers everywhere, and the Acme 6001 Juicerator has all the indications of setting that bar even higher. Currently holding a 4.5 out of 5 stars possible on Amazon dot com, and higher overall scores available on independent review sites across the internet.
One of the absolute best features about the Acme Juicerator, would have to be its legendary durability. With customers from as far back as 1978 writing reviews almost twenty years later, and stating that their machine still works almost EXACLTY as well as it did when they originally purchased it.
A point which is further emphasized by one reviewer, who points out that while the Acme is a bit more expensive. You can pay around $200 and have a machine that lasts thirty plus years, or spend $70-100 every few years replacing lesser machines. Once you start to do the math, the choice is obvious.
Also of note, was the story of a reviewer who stated that the unit they are now using had been stored for five years without cleaning. One would think, that a machine uncleaned for 5 years and left in a pulp filled condition would not work afterwords.
The opposite was proven true however, when after thirty minutes of cleaning the machine was good as new and functioning as if it had never been sealed away for all those years.
Overall, the Acme brand is strong for a reason. They built excellent quality machines, these are not your $50 pieces of plastic which you see more commonly in stores. This is a stainless steel workhorse which will last you a lifetime.
As such, we cannot really recommend it highly enough. If you need a tough, reliable juicer and want it as a long term investment. This is your choice.
