The best Android smartwatch for you is the one that has a lot of features, looks stylish on the wrist, and works great with your android phone. We have tested all the essential products on the market to decide which ones best meet these criteria.

In this final list, we’ve ranked the top six based on price, performance, design, and integration with the Android fitness app ecosystem.

Just like when you choose an Android phone, when you buy a smartwatch, you have many options that will work. But it also means that opportunities can be overwhelming. Most include necessary fitness and notification features, such as step counting and walk and run tracking.

But purchase a little more, and you’ll get great features like heart rate sensors, GPS, NFC for mobile payments, and better battery life. It depends on what you want the smartwatch to do or add to your life, and what you can’t get from a regular smartphone or wristwatch.

And there are a variety of designs – you can go for a sporty, blocky look or something that could be made into an ordinary wedding or work watch. With many models that allow interchangeable bracelets, you can handle multiple styles in one purchase.

Each watch on this list is the best option for Android, and it will work with iPhone as well (although sometimes with fewer features available). Be sure to read each review to see which of our choices is right for you.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 3

Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 Best Android Smartwatch
The best of the best

PA: Tizen OS Compatibility: Android, iOS Screen: 1.2 “or 1.4” 360 x 360 Super AMOLED | Processor: 1.15 GHz dual-core Ribbon sizes: 22mm or 20mm Integrated storage: 8GB Battery life: 3 days at 45mm / less at 41mm Charging method: wireless IP rating: IP68 | Connectivity: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE (paid)

Pros

  • Superior fit and finish Excellent features.

Cons

  • Battery life is not very good, Expensive.

The Galaxy Watch 3 isn’t just the best Android smartwatch, it’s the best smartwatch you can buy. It is equipped with features and is available in two sizes to fit different sized wrists.

We love returning a physical rotating mask that you can’t find in the Galaxy Watch Active line. Navigating the round menus of Samsung’s Tizen software becomes a tactile pleasure. Watch 3 combines a sleek and sleek design with top-notch fitness features like GPS and multisport tracking.

One small downside is that this is an all-day battery-powered watch and an Apple Watch Series 5. But the Watch 3 makes up for that with great software, all the fitness features you could want, and a premium, which I think justifies the high price.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2

Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 Best Android Smartwatch
Samsung is also in second place.

PA: Tizen OS Compatibility: Android, iOS Screen: 1.2 “or 1.4” 360 x 360 Super AMOLED | Processor: 1.15 GHz dual-core Belt sizes: 20 mm Built-in storage: 4 GB Battery life: approx. 2 days Charging method: wireless IP rating: 50 m | Connectivity: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth

Pros

  • Excellent performance, Two-day battery life

Cons

  • More expensive than the previous generation, Limited third-party applications

The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 is sold with the original Watch Active. Still, we preferred this newer model thanks to the updated design, long battery life, and digital touch bezel that was previously lacking.

The “Active” label means this smartwatch is more suitable for exercise and tracking than the regular Galaxy Watch, which is reflected in the great suggestions and reminders to train on board to achieve your goals. Objectives established.

It’s waterproof, suitable for running, cycling, and swimming, among other activities, it handles notifications well, and you only need to charge it every other day.

Fossil Sport

Fossil Sport Best Android Smartwatch
The fossil occupies the fourth position.

OS: Wear OS Screen: 1.2 inches 390 x 390 AMOLED | Processor: 1.2 GHz quad-core Ribbon sizes: 22 mm bands Integrated storage: 4 GB Battery life: two days Charging method: patented IP rating: IP68 | Connectivity: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS

Pros

Lightweight design, Powerful watch,

Cons

Missing superior, GPS features may be slow.

This is the first watch among many on this list that comes with Wear OS software. This is the Fossil Sport and is probably one of the first watches from the company to follow models like the Samsung Galaxy Watch and the Apple Watch.

It’s lightweight, so comfortable for various exercises, and it’s been built with GPS in mind, and an accurate heart rate monitor included.

Despite the sporty approach, the design is still top-notch, and it is one of the most potent gadgets on this list, as it comes with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 chipset.

It is not yet the case on much other Wear OS watches, and we’ve noticed that it’s significantly more stylish than some of the alternatives.

TicWatch E2

TicWatch E2
The Wear OS watch you’ve probably never heard of

OS: Wear OS Screen: 1.39 “400 x 400 OLED | Processor: Snapdragon Wear 2100 | Built-in storage: 4 GB | Battery life: approx. 48 hours | Charging method: Magnetic connection pin | IP rating: IP67 | Connectivity: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1

Pros

  • Two days of battery life with ease

Cons

  • No NFC for payments, Fluid design

Now is the time for one of the cheapest devices on this list, and it comes from Chinese manufacturer Mobvoi. The TicWatch E2 isn’t a significant improvement over the first-gen watch, but it does offer some excellent features considering its price tag.

We like the two-day battery life and the fact that you can get all the features of Wear OS in an hour for such a low price. It’s a pretty impressive feat, and it’s why it’s so high on our best Android watch list.

There is no NFC (so there is no Google Pay), but you can be forgiven for that price, especially if you get GPS and a heart rate monitor.

Not sure about the design? Why not take a glance at the TicWatch S2? It’s a remarkably similar watch, but it has a slightly different look.

Fitbit Versa Lite

Fitbit Versa Lite
The cheapest Fitbit smartwatch

OS: Fitbit OS | Compatibility: Android, iOS Screen: 300 x 300 LCD | Integrated storage: N / A | Battery life: up to 4-days Charging method: magnetic connector plug IP protection rating: water resistance up to 50m Connectivity: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth

Pros

  • Affordable multi-day battery

Cons

  • No GPS or NFC, No on-screen training

Fitbit produces several smartwatches, but the cheapest of all is the Versa Lite. Despite the price, it’s still an excellent option for Android viewing thanks to its many features.

While it doesn’t have a built-in GPS, you can connect it to a phone to record running routes, and there’s all of the sport-tracking features you’ll find on the Versa 2 or Ionic.

The battery life is cool and will last around five days, even with constant use, and the unit itself is slim and light, making it easy to get into bed for sleep monitoring functions.

It lacks the NFC, so you can’t use Fitbit Pay, but if you want a Fitbit watch experience for less, that doesn’t make sense.

Honor Magic Watch 2

Honor Magic Watch 2 Best Android Smartwatch

Targeted fitness

PA: LiteOS | Compatibility: Android, iOS Display: 1.2 inch / 1.39 inch 454 x 454 AMOLED | Built-in storage: 4 GB Battery life: 7 days / 14 days Charging method: magnetic connection plug IP rating: waterproof | Connectivity: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC

Pros

  • Incredible battery life, Superior fitness features

Cons

  • Dust magnet, Limited fitness features.

The Honor Magic Watch 2 is ideal if you want to have many high-level fitness features in a smartwatch that can be transformed into a more luxurious circular watch.

It’s not a complete sports watch, but it does come with GPS, a host of different workout modes with detailed information, and the software can provide feedback on some activities.

The best part is the battery life of one to two weeks, a resistance that is very rarely found in other big-screen smartwatches.

Keep in mind that this is a watch-like fitness tracker because its few smartwatch features are fundamental, and the notification system is not the best. Best to use on Android as it lacks features if connected to the iPhone, but this is welcome for Android fitness fans.
