The company has scheduled the lunch of Galaxy Unpacked for the 11 of February 2020. It is rumored that the punch hole in the display is set to be becoming smaller – towing the lane of the Note 10 – and there are expectations that it will come with that Auro Glow color.

But the real story is possible to be about the expected integrated 5G. Will the highly anticipated SGS20 provide handsets that function on all bands?

It is also assumed that the phone’s camera module at the back will increase – big cameras, it looks, are now a trendy thing.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip

Another smartphone from Samsung that is rumored to be launching on the 11th of February 2020 is the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip phone or SM-F700.

It is a clamshell-style kind of folding phone that features a 6.7-inch display. The device is rumored to be powered by the hi-tech Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+, and the price is meant to be so much lower than the former folding phone made by Samsung.

It has recently been called as the Galaxy Z Flip.

The Motorola Moto Edge & Edge+

Motorola is believed to be cooking up the launch of a brand new phone, under the title of Edge.

Very little is known about the smartphone, except that its launch is expected to happen on the 23 of February 2020, and that there will an Edge+ version that will be created too.

It is assumed that this might be a modern flagship-grade device, but asides the name, we only have few details.

Nokia 8.2 5G

Nokia and Qualcomm have recently been talking up a bunch of affordable 5G smartphones based on the much-praised Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Series hardware.

What we are sure about is the fact that they are coming real soon, but we do not know so much about what these smartphones will have to offer – apart from faster connection speeds.

What we have confirmed is that we will be provided a 5G Nokia phone, and it is likely to show up at MWC 2020. What we suspect is that the phone will be known as the Nokia 8.2, mainly because that is a mid-range phone that is waiting to be upgraded – and we assume the phone will run the Snapdragon 765.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 & Mi 10 Pro

Xiaomi has now confirmed that It’s a new phone – the Mi 10 will be launched in 2020 and has also revealed one essential detail – that it is going to be one of the first devices to make use of Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 platform.

What we, however, suspect is that the Xiaomi Mi 10 will be released ahead of the pack, possibly in January 2020 for China, accompanied by a global release in February.

We are also expecting two versions of this phone; first, a Pro model that has a 108-megapixel camera, as well as the regular that will have a 64-megapixel primary camera.

Sony Xperia 5 Plus / Next Xperia phone

Showing up under the title Xperia 5 Plus, this smartphone could be referred to like all sorts of things. The images have leaked, as well as a few details about this phone. It is showing a design with flattened-edge and plenty of cameras on the rear.

It seems like Sony is stuck to 21:9 for the phone’s display, be gradually reducing those bezels for a more appreciated result. We are expecting this phone to be of flagship-grade as well as a 6.6-inch display; it is going to be somewhat significant.

LG G9 ThinQ

The unique feature for the about to be launched LG G9 most likely is the camera system at the back of the phone. From what we know, the display is somewhere around 6.6 inches, and the overall design of the phone looks very similar to the LG G8, apart from the camera changes at the back.

That currently looks like the primary focus for LG, to boost the camera performance in this device.

Apple iPhone SE 2/iPhone 9

This smartphone is one that comes around every year; however, now we have a good idea of the next affordable phone from Apple. Rumors have it that the expected iPhone SE 2 – or iPhone 9, as it will likely be called – will probably be an updated version of the highly appreciated iPhone 8.

The phone will be designed to be very affordable to attract people into the iPhone system without needing to pay big bucks for the most recent models.

Oppo Find X2

The initial Oppo Find X was expected to fix the notch problem by featuring a pop-up camera. Now there are reports that Oppo is planning to make use of an under-display camera for the subsequent iteration of the Oppo Find X, about to be launched in 2020.

Coupled with Snapdragon 865 – which is something that has already been confirmed by Oppo – it could be a new phone.

Huawei P40 & P40 Pro

Huawei did not have a smooth ride in 2019, but it isn’t doing poorly as it still has a massive market in China that is not affected in any way by the US trade bans that hinders its business in many regions of the globe.

Regardless of this, there are plenty of rumors going on about the new phone. We are expecting it to be launched in Paris by March and that it will feature a 64-megapixel primary camera, which is part of a five-camera Leica system.

Nevertheless, it will not be launched with the current Google services, but Huawei will provide excellent alternatives to keep you connected.

Huawei Mate Xs

Huawei is one of the favorite brands out there.

The smartphone maker is said to be planning to launch of a second-generation of folding phone, wanting something that is a little bit more robust and lunching at a cheaper price than the initial one — introducing the Mate Xs, which is believed to possess a more substantial hinge, which is a display that is many times cheaper to make and a slightly different form factor.

OnePlus 8 & 8 Pro

The way the OnePlus 8 designs have already been leaked – and it has got a sleek punch-hole front camera on display. Mainly, it looks a lot like a Samsung phone, with a slim curved screen, as well as a punch hole and a triple camera at the back.

We would expect this smartphone to launch on the most recent Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 hardware, and likely see a launch of it by April 2020.

What we expect is that there will also be the release of an 8 Pro, and what we assume is a 120Hz display on these phones.

OnePlus 8 Lite

OnePlus seems like it is going to provide an affordable phone off the OnePlus 8 Lite. The OnePlus 8 Lite phone may sit on MediaTek hardware and has also made a few compromises, but may also offer a more affordable lunch point to the OnePlus’ devices.

It is rumored to be launched together with the OnePlus 8 – and it might as well turn out to be an affordable 5G handset.

Google Pixel 4a

Google has an affordable handset that offers access to that beautiful Google camera but in a more affordable device.

It looks so much like there is going to be a Pixel 4a to provide an excellent appeal to people on a tighter budget, together with a punch-hole front camera, a 3.5mm headphone socket as well as a single camera right at the back.

We are expecting the launch of this device by May 2020. It is rumored that we will not be getting a 4a XL by the year 2020.

Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 / Galaxy Z Fold 2

Rumors about the device have suggested that Samsung is not only making a flip phone – which is the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip.

However, Samsung will also be updating the present fold with a new generation of smartphones. It is expected that this one will be launched as a flagship-grade phone, perhaps coming with the 108-megapixel camera from the S20 Ultra, Snapdragon 865, as well as 5G and S Pen support.

Apple iPhone 12 and iPhone 5G

With the launch of the iPhone 11 series out of the way, the big question about 5G is yet to be answered.

Apple had recently said it would not launch a 5G phone in the previous year, and it did not – but long before the rumor of the iPhone 11 showed up, there were other tales of the iPhone to be launched by 2020 – the iPhone 12.

There are talks of a new squarer design of the iPhone, 5G, and as well as an OLED display for all the three models. However, it may just be a fan wishlist

The Nokia 9.2 PureView

The rumors going around are that Nokia has plans to update it’s Nokia 9 device, and to get it on Snapdragon 865, it is delaying until much later in the year 2020. It will most likely be launched in August.

That is most probably as a result of the work required to get the phone’s camera system working well on the new hardware.
