Duplicate Emails in “Sent Folder” on Zoho Mail

If you are one of those using Zoho mail for your email needs and use a different mail SMTP client, let’s be honest with the Zoho mail official app for android and iOS SUCKS!

I have been a customer of Zoho for over five years now. I use aquamail and mailbird (PC). Since the android policy restricting background activity, aquamail has not been functioning correctly, so it is challenging to receive notifications without accessing the app.

I recently switched to mailbird on the desktop since most of the time i use my desktop for work most of the time, but I noticed when I send a message, there will be three copies.

So, I searched for a solution to these, and I am here to share them with you. 

Turn off SMTP save email in Zoho Mail

  • Login to Zoho Mail
  • Go to Settings
  • Navigate to Mail Accounts and click the respective email address.
  • Under the general or SMTP section, uncheck the Save copy of sent emails.

So it becomes this…

That is all, now when you sent emails, just one copy will be saved to your Zoho Mail account, remember to do this for every account you have.
