This move may be to make the series more popular and acceptable and also to provide more options like its sister company Tecno. It has been listed on the official Infinix Website. Without further Ado, let us see what Infinix has in store for us.

Design and Display

At first glance, one might mistake the Infinix Note 7 Lite for the Infinix Hot 9 or the Camon 15 Air announced last month due to resemblance in size and design.

The Infinix Note 7 Lite has a punch hole camera on the top left that houses the selfie camera. The top frame holds the speaker. The phone has a 6.6 inch panel and a thin bottom chin for structural integrity.

At the back of the phone is the quad camera setup with a quad LED flash. towards the bottom are the Infinix and Note brand logo. The left side of the phone holds the SIM tray while the right side holds the volume controller and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The base houses the main external speaker, USB 2.0 ports, a dedicated mic, and a 3.5mm audio jack port. The phone has three colors; black, purple and green.

The display packs a 6.6 IPS LCD devoid of any special display settings. The Infinix Note 7 Lite has a 720 x 1600 pixels resolution, almost similar to that found on the Infinix Note 7. The aspect ratio stands at 20:9 and the screen-to-body ratio is around 85%.

Camera Specifications.

Despite the poor outing shown the Infinix Note 7 lite in the display section, the smartphone did try to make amends in the camera department. The selfie camera packs an 8MP lens for capturing images and videos. This is similar to the camera settings of the Infinix Hot 9.

The rear camera setup mirrors that of the Tecno Camon 15 Air. First, the design and arrangement look exactly the same. And like the Camon Air, the Infinix Note 7 Lite has a 48MP main rear camera. Other squad members of the rear camera module are; a 2MP macro camera that captures details up to 25MM, a 2MP depth sensor and an extra night light sensor for video mode.

The cameras are capable of capturing videos in 720p and 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second. Camera functionalities are extended by software.

Hardware Specifications

Infinix took a trip back to 2018 and returned with the Helio P22 Octacore chipset. The Processor has Octacore Cortex A55 chips clocked to reach a maximum speed of 2.0GHz. In the GPU sits the integrated IMG PowerVR 8320. I wouldn’t want to complain but the Helio P35 would have suited this device.

The Memory department did spice things up a bit as we have 4GB of RAM space and 128GB of onboard storage. Should it not be enough for file storage, there is an SD card slot that allows memory expansion with memory card up to 2TB.

Software And Battery

The device runs the Android 10 OS under the XOS 6 skin. The skin comes with a lot of customizations and third-party apps.

The Infinix Note 7 lite uses a 5000mAh inbuilt battery that should last up to three days. Infinix did say the phone comes with some form of quick charge but that will wait till when the phone is released so we can find out.

I am sure this device will make the list of best Infinix devices to buy when the price is finally released.
