MultiChoice has recently unveiled a wonderful, new mobile application known as the MyDStv app. This application is one that is designed to put the power of self-service in the hands of DStv users wherever they are.
DStv is one of multichoice most used platforms and has been specifically tailored to meet the needs of the African market and to ensure a reduced data consumption rate as well as to create ease of use.
The MyDStv app has been made available for download in various African countries since the 25 February 2019 through the iOS app store and the Android play stores at no extra cost.
Rajan Soobramoney, Head of Digital Enablement for Multichoice Africa, had earlier in the year said that “In this ever-growing digital environment, it is our mission to a stay ahead of the curve and continue to enrich our customers” lives by putting them at the heart of everything we do.
The MyDStv app has been designed with the customer in mind to provide them with a simple and easy way for them to enjoy their video entertainment.”
Adding that “The new app will form part of the numerous digital platforms that are innovative and functional to meet the ever-changing needs and demands of our valued customers.”
Immediately the MyDStv app is downloaded by a DStv user, such a customers “no matter the package they may have subscribed to” can log in to the app using their customer details (I.e customer last name OR registered mobile number as well as their decoder smartcard number) on the go, anytime they decide to, and from wherever they may be. Sounds great right”
Once a DStv subscriber is successfully logged in, such a customer should be able to perform the following activities using the app:
- Manage and pay their DStv subscription on their account and also view their payment history
