Oukitel is a smartphone brand based in China and with steady releases of top notch smartphones over the years, the OEM has grown to be a rival to top brands like Samsung, Xiaomi, Elephone, UMiDIGI and more.

Oukitel is particularly known for making smartphones with high features at relatively affordable prices. The likes of the bezel-less Oukitel C8, the battery-focused Oukitel K6000 Plus, Oukitel K10000 Pro, Oukitel U11 and more speaks well of Oukitel’s level of craft in gadgets making.

Let’s have a look at the Oukitel Mix 2

Design & Display

The Oukitel Mix 2 is available in three different colours (Black, Blue, and Silver) and is covered at the rear with metal (Aluminum Alloy) and on the front by a 2.5D curved glass. When the Oukitel Mix 2 is held, you can’t help but to notice the extremely slim figure and how the screen blends neatly to the side of the device.

The secondary speaker for phone calls and price sensors are neatly embedded at the top of the device, while the secondary selfie camera is placed in a rather ‘unusual’ position – at the bottom right corner.

The Oukitel Mix 2’s display is sized at 5.99 inch and has a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and 403 ppi pixel density.

The Oukitel Mix 2 runs the Android v7.0 Nougat operating system with a modified user interface.

Performance and Memory

The Oukitel Mix 2 comes with an Octa core MediaTek Helio P25 processor that runs at a speed of 2.39 GHz.

Regarding storage, the SIM 2 card slot can be alternated as the SD card slot for expansion of the inherent 64 GB storage to up to 512GB. The device however comes in two variants on the basis of RAM – either 4GB or 6GB.

One of the major highlight of the Oukitel Mix 2 is the dual camera set-up on the rear. The set-up consists of one 16-megapixels lens and another of 2-megapixels resolution.

To handle selfies, there is a single 8-megapixels lens at the bottom right corner with a single LED flash to its right.

The component powering the Oukitel Mix 2 is a Lithium Polymer battery cell which has a capacity of 4,080 mAh. The battery is neither removable nor replaceable but it charges relatively fast in no time, thanks to the Quick Charge technology (of unspecified version) featured on the Oukitel Mix 2.
