Biography of Ramsey Nouah

Ramsey Nouah’s full name is Ramsey Nouah Tokunbo Jr. On December 19, 1970, Ramsey Nouah was born to an Israeli father and a Yoruba mother who hailed from Owo, Ondo State. Ramsey Nouah is currently 49 years of age.

Although Ramsey Nouah’s father is Lebanese-Israeli and his mother is a Nigerian, Ramsey Nouah was raised by his mother in Lagos, Nigeria.

Ramsey Nouah grew up in Surulere in Lagos, where he attended Atara elementary school and Community Grammar school. He further went to the University of Lagos, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, after which he decided to pursue his career in acting.

Ramsey Nouah, an actor in the Nigerian film industry, had once considered pursuing a music career but was convinced by a close friend at the age of 20 to go into acting.

His first film shoot was his stepping stone when he started auditioning for TV shows and thereby won the role of “Jeff” in a Nigerian soap opera “Fortunes,” which aired on screens from 1993 to 1994.

Ramsey Nouah has featured in several Nigerian videos, but they never shown on screens due to issues related to the lack of adequate resources.

In 1996 Ramsey Nouah made his breakthrough in a film called “Silent Night,” which starred other veterans of Nigerian cinema, such as Kate Henshaw, Emeka Ike, Okey Bakassi, Ejike Asiegbu, Chidi Mokeme, Baba Dee and Francis Duru.

In “Silent Night”, he played the role of “Stanley”, who was a rich boy and, out of boredom, went to Ajegunle to join the Black Arrow gang.

Ramsey Nouah went on to take on several roles in romantic films that quickly earned him the nickname “Lover Boy”, which some fans still call him.

In 2004 Ramsey Nouah appeared in the movie “Dangerous Twins”, where he played double roles, the good and bad twins – Taiye and Kehinde.
