The world of smartphones is ever revolving, and every day, different news hit the headlines as OEMs try to outsmart each other by offering specs and features we wouldn’t imagine. Here are the flagships making the headlines for now.
Xiaomi is rumored to have the Redmi 6 Pro, Mi Max 3 and Mi Pad 4 incoming. Redmi Pro is rumored to have a dual camera set up consisting of 12MP and 5MP, 4000mAh battery, Helio P22 Octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz, 5.84-inch Full HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio with memory configurations of 2GB/16GB and 3GB/32GB.
The Mi Max 3 is expected to be launched next month (July), and it is rumored to have up to 5500mAh battery, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710chipset allegedly paired with up to 6GB of RAM. It is also rumored to have iris scanner and also support wireless charging.
The Mi Pad 4 doesn’t have much information on it for now, but it will have Snapdragon 660 chipset, a single 13MP camera on the back, 5MP front-facing unit and a 6,000 mAh battery according to GSMarena.

Recently, Asus released ZenFone Ares in Taiwan and it was released quietly. The device is built for Virtual Reality And Augmented Reality.
The Zenfone Ares is 5.7-inch Super AMOLED panel, 16:9 aspect ratio and QHD resolution (1440 x 2560 pixels). It uses Snapdragon 821 chipset with 8GB RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.0 expandable storage. The camera is 23MP capable of motion tracking and depth sensing for AR. it is powered by 3,300 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. IT is limited to Taiwan and available for $333.
The OnePlus 6 smartphone took just 22 days to shatter the OnePlus sales record with over 1 million pieces sold. With 256GB inbuilt memory and specs that rival the iPhone X, OnePlus 6 didn’t have to take over3 months like its predecessors the OnePlus 5T and OnePlus 5.

Blackberry just released updates for its KeyOne Smartphones to prepare it for Android Oreo Updates. GSMArena reports that those who installed the update are reporting it first throws an error, but the installation process completes successfully after the device reboots. So do keep this in mind while installing the update.
Also, Samsung will release its Oreo Updates for Samsung Galaxy S7 Active very soon as its Wi-Fi Certification (pictured below) has been spotted.
For those in Canada, Huawei P10 Lite is also going to receive Ore updates very soon. The update is expected in July, one year after the device got to Canada. Also, Motorola G5 will receive Oreo update soon.
