It’s been more than one year since Tyga and Kylie Jenner broke up and Tyga has since moved on to doing other things with his life.
Tyga happened to be a guest on Thursday’s episode on Queen Radio and hosted by Nicki Minaj. The host asked the rapper if he misses the Keeping up with the Kardashian star whom he used to date.
Tyga responded with a “No, I’m good. I’m good love, enjoy,”
Tyga didn’t forget to take credit for Kylie’s fame and success in the makeup industry. When Nicki Minaj asked the rapper if he helped put Kylie Jenner on the spotlight, Tyga replied “big fact,” he added that “everybody know that” and “that’s public.” He also mentioned that fans needed to look at “the before and after.
“She always had a platform, and she was always destined to be where she was going to be, regardless,” Tyga said. “But, when I stepped in, and there was a lot of codes being taught, it was like, ‘You could do this. You should start this. You should start doing your hair like this, or you should do this.
You should adapt because you need black people to f–k with you cause you need culture. If you ain’t got black people behind you, you ain’t got nothing—ain’t nobody going to listen. You can’t influence nobody.’ So, I had a lot to do with all that.”
The recording artist didn’t stop there, he went further to claim that he helped Kylie come up with the names and colours of her lipsticks.
“It was a lot of stuff, but, it’s like, I’m not that bitter type of person because God is going to pay me back; the universe is going to pay me back,” he shared. “And people are seeing what’s happening now.”
Tyga also said there are no hard feelings between him and his ex girlfriend. “I’m not a bitter person. That’s like, if we break up, we break up. We had a good time and we kept moving. You know, we went our separate ways, and we both are doing good, you know what I’m saying?”
As for Kylie Jenner, she proves everyday how much she has moved on and how happy she has been so far. Growing her make up line to a multi million dollar empire and gracing Forb’s 2018 “Richest self-made women” issue and standing on the 27th spot is so much achievement for her age. Kylie is currently dating Travis Scott and is happily playing the mommy role to her daughter Stormi Webster.
Kylie and Tyga dated of and on for a few years and finally decided to path ways for good. Kylie moved on to date Travis Scott in 2017.
Talking about why they broke up, Kylie said “There was absolutely not one thing wrong with me and T. Him and I will always, always have a bond. There was no crazy fight, we just decided—well, I decided that I’m really young. I don’t want to look back in five years from now and feel like he took something from me when he’s really not that type of person.”
About Tyga’s feelings for Travis Scott knowing he took over from him, Tyga said “We aint got no beef.”
