The F2 is one of Umidigi’s successful attempt at the midrange market. The UMiDigi F2 joins the war against bezels as the smartphone features a hole-punch camera with FullView display.
The device though released last year was among the first devices to feature Android 10 OS alongside its glass cover, NFC, quad camera, and affordable price.
The UMiDigi F2 smartphone is still one of the few smartphones that is still worth buying, seeing that it had long implemented features that devices released recently are trying to implement.
Follow me as I bring out all that it entails.

The first design feature you will notice is that UMiDigi F2 ditches the notch in favor of a 4.5mm hole punch selfie camera.
The smartphone is quite large as it utilized a 6.53 inch Full HD+ IPS LCD panel. The panel is almost bezel-less save for the tiny chin at the bottom.
At the back is the illusionary holographic design made with 2.5D glass protection that creates reflections. A quad-camera module and dual-tone LED flash sits there too arranged in two columns side by side.
The right-hand side holds the volume buttons and the power button that doubles as the fingerprint sensor. The 3.5mm audio jack, dedicated mic, USB Type C, and external speaker are located at the base of the smartphone.
The edges are well curved to make it look beautiful
The 6.53 FhD+ inch display panel features the IPS LCD technology with a full view display. The display resolution offered by this device is 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
The screen to body ratio of the F2 though not stated should be on the upside of the 80% mark. It also has protective covering that looks like a 2.5D glass since it is unspecified.
The quad rear camera set up features still looks impressive to date as the mid-range device specs will still put some smartphones to the same in battle.
There is the 48MP 6 elements lens primary sensor. Alongside is a 13 MP ultra-wide sensor, assisted by a 5MP depth sensor and an extra 5MP macro lens.
The UMiDigi F2 is even more stunning in the selfie department as UMiDigi placed a whopping 32MP Samsung selfie camera lens that uses 4-in-1 super pixel technology for a clearer & brighter selfies.
There are a lot of software improvements that also bring various features to photography.
Inside the UMiDigi F2 is the MediaTek Helio P70 processor with 4 Cortex-A73 chips clocked at 2.1GHz and 4 Cortex-A53 chips clocked at 2.0GHz. Pairing it is the ARM Mali G72 MP3 Graphics Processing Unit with a clock speed of 900MHz.
While it may not be built for gaming, it should hold its ground for a while though there may be lags on the frame rate.
The UMiDigi F2 did not slack in the memory department as the smartphone offers 6GB of RAM space alongside 128GB of file storage space. The memory is expandable by using a memory card up to 256GB.
Software and Battery
The Umidigi F2 is among the first few smartphones shipped with Android Q. The software that powers a smartphone has always been the cause of great victories or problems for the companies.
Many have complained over the bloatware found in Infinix, Tecno, Xiaomi, etc but UMiDigi decided to follow Nokia’s step in offering the pure Android OS. This means there are no third-party apps other than the ones loaded by Google.
For battery power, there is a massive 5150 mAh battery on board. It also comes with an 18W Type C fast charger.
Other features include NFC for Google Pay Services, Face Unlock, 4G, etc.
