Have you got a Virtual reality headset and an iPhone? Then all you need to do is to download a VR app that works great on Apple devices.

Even though all Apple smartphones work well with most VR apps, some apps only work well with the latest and fastest iPhones.

However, if you use any device from iPhone 5 and beyond, then you have nothing to worry about because your device will do just fine with most VR apps.

Also, your iPhone will work with a variety of VR goggles and headsets like Noon VR Pro, the Carl Zeiss VR One Plus, Google Cardboard, and Merge VR.

When it comes to the best VR mobile apps, you can find lots of them on the Apple app store. However, many of the VR apps do not offer the fantastic experience people seek to enjoy from VR.

How do you select the best out of many? We are here to help you figure that out. These ten perfect VR apps for the iPhone will blow your mind after the first try.

1. End Space VR

End Space VREnd Space VR

I doubt there is anyone on earth who wouldn’t enjoy a space battle. End Space VR, created by Justin Wasilenko, gives you an exciting experience in a beautiful virtual environment.

In this game, you helm the operations of your own spaceship, and the only mission you have is to blow up the enemy ships before they blow yours up.

The tension mounts as your shields begin to weaken, and you start to wonder if they’ll recharge fast enough for you to fight a second round.

The colors and details of the graphics are fantastic, and the gameplay is fun and frenetic. You’ll have to save up 99 cents for this VR app, but we guarantee that the admission price is worth the ride.

2. InMind VR

InMind VR

Do you remember all those interesting science-fiction stories where a person is shrunk to a really tiny size and placed in the body of a normal-sized person?

Well, with this game, you can live out that same fantasy, but in a virtual world. With this free InMind VR app made by Nival, you play the role of a human given the task of helping a patient dealing with a depressive disorder. Want to know the catch?

You only get to treat your patient from inside the body. You, the doctor, are miniaturized and placed inside the person’s brain, where you have to attack red neurons as you try to cure your patient. The fantastic thing about this game is the simplicity of the gameplay, coupled with the excellent graphics that light up the experience.

When you’re finished with this one, you can proceed to InMind VR 2, which offers you a quick tutorial on the brain’s chemistry and gives you one story for free and an additional 300 once you pay a small amount of $2.99.

3. Star Chart VR

Star Chart VR

With Star Chart VR, you can experience a whole planetarium on your iPhone for $2.99. This VR app takes you on a journey of our solar system, allowing you to travel among the stars, planets, and constellations.

As you travel through space, you turn your attention to a particular moon, planet, or other objects. For someone like me who’s always wanted to look at Mars and check out the rings of Saturn and the moon, this game is just perfect.

Click on the action button on your headset to check out details on the particular object you want. Star Chart VR is an ideal ride and a fantastic way to learn and explore the solar system.

4. VirtualSpeech

For a lot of us, nothing causes nervousness more than public speaking. If you are one of those who can’t speak in public without feeling like you’d pee your pants, here’s one app that you might find helpful.

VirtualSpeech gives users different scenarios in which they can practice public speaking. With this app, you can go for a business meeting, teach a class, conduct a presentation, or even go on a job interview.

In every case, you’re put amid actual people recorded for the application to whom you must preach your message. To make things more realistic, you have the option of adding your own slides to a presentation.

VirtualSpeech also allows you access to words of wisdom from public speaking experts on how to speak to large crowds. As you experience each of the featured scenarios, the app gives feedback on your performance and even tracks your progress.

5. VR Mojo Orbulus

VR Mojo Orbulus

Have you always wanted to visit other countries but you don’t have the money to do so? The VR Mojo Orbulus gives you a virtual trek of the very best of sights and sounds from around the world at no cost.

The app begins by displaying different floating photo spheres that are a gateway to a variety of destinations. Once you decide to look at a sphere that catches your attention, and you’re immediately taken to that place and time.

Visit places like Rockefeller Center in New York, get on a Ghost Train Ride in Poland. Enjoy the beauty of the pyramids in Egypt. Oh! The lovely view of Paris at night is not left out, and no user is bound to scenic hot spots only.

If you would like to experience what it’s like to be a hand glove or a sock in a washing machine, take a journey through the inside of a World War II gun turret, or even walk on the surface of Mars, this app allows all these and much more.

6. VR Noir

If you have ever wanted to play a private eye, nothing is stopping you now. With the 99-cent only VR Noir app made by Start VR, you play the character of Veronica Coltrane, a divorced mum in battle with her crazy ex-husband.

The figure is forced to set up a shop as a private detective after she got fired from the police force. When you take on a new client, it is left to you to decide what you have to do and how far you are willing to go to solve the case.

Different elements work together to make VR Noir a compelling virtual experience. The story is a relatable and interactive one, so you need to make some specific decisions along the way to move progress with the plot.

The app is not just a 360-degree environment like some other ones you may have seen. It’s an entire movie, featuring real people and realistic settings, filmed like a clear motion picture.

Many users also find the characters captivating, so you’ll be tempted to keep playing so you can see what happens to them and how you end up.

7. VR Roller Coaster

VR Roller Coaster

When you go searching for virtual reality roller coaster apps for iPhones I guarantee that you’ll find so many; some will be good, some will be not so good.

But one of the most intense VR roller coasters apps that I’ve tried is VR RollerCoasters from VR Games. The app offers users three different roller coaster tracks. This means that you can choose your path and hang on for a good ride.

The roller coaster ride is set to take you through the usual ups, downs, twists, and turns that come with such tides but also throws in some scary loop-the-loops that makes you feel like you’re upside down.

For those of you who get dizzy on actual roller coasters, there is a possibility that you may feel somewhat woozy on this virtual ride.

8. Within

There are times when you just want to explore new places, meet new people, and explore scenes through the lens of Virtual Reality. Within is a VR app that helps you do just that.

This VR app offers users a wide range of stories to explore, such as animated adventures, fictional scenarios, some real-life documentaries. And Within uses a VR approach that puts you right in the middle of the action.

You can get a next to the real feel of what it’s like to take a ride with Lego Batman in the Batmobile as you take a leisure drive around Gotham City.

You can even a crowd to listen to an orchestra perform a Mozart concerto. If you want to sit at a table in a fictional casino and watch drug dealers play Russian Roulette, you can do that too.

For fans of the aquatic world, this app lets you take a dive into the oceans and swim in the midst of many of sharks. And if you want, you can travel to space in 1965 using a Russian rocket and even take a spacewalk to observe the Earth.

The stories on this VR app are varied enough so that you always find a new adventure to embark on.

9. YouTube

YouTube is the World’s most popular place to see lots of amazing VR videos, and you can watch them via the regular YouTube app. Download the YouTube app from the Apple App Store, if you don’t have it already.

You have a couple of options on the platform. Fire up any VR video and then click on it. At the player screen, click on the three-dot icon that appears in the upper right and choose the Watch in VR option.

Some of the videos you’ll find lend themselves to a VR approach, and others, not so much. The best way to improve your odds is to run a search through the YouTube home screen and search for “VR” or “virtual reality.”

If you wish to try YouTube’s own Virtual Reality channel, that is a good option. Choose a cool video to watch. Click on the screen and then click on the Google Cardboard icon present in the lower right part to go into VR mode. Put on your headset and have a fun experience.

10. Zombie Shooter VR

Zombie Shooter VR

It’s time to take down The Walking Dead. With this VR app, you get an opportunity to get rid of zombies in your virtual world.

The Zombie Shooter VR made by FIBRUM starts the user off alone in a small, dank room. You then have to pick up a weapon, walk through the door, and finally meet zombies.

The game is designed to automatically move the player along, so you fire at each new zombie who wakes up from the dead. You will also bump into several obstacles that you must shoot to keep going. But do not allow the zombies get too close to you. Otherwise, you’ll have to die, also.

There is a free version of this game that restricts you to a trial scenario that doesn’t last longer than a few minutes. If you choose to continue meeting and killing zombies, you’ll have to pay $1.99 for the full version.

Once you try the virtual living dead, you’ll be in search of more. House can also get a related VR zombie game from FIBRUM called VR Zombie Warfare.
